Visual Arts fosters creativity, expression, and collaboration through diverse activities.
Visual Arts
The Visual Arts program is designed to nurture individual expression and creativity, and develop an understanding of the elements and principles of Art. Students create two and three-dimensional artworks in structured learning experiences, for example mark making, collage, paint, clay and construction using recycled materials. Students are encouraged to experiment with different materials and styles, whilst studying various artists and their works. They collaborate with each other to identify specific art styles and discuss their responses to selected art work.
All students participate in activities that develop confidence, critical and creative thinking, imagination and promote problem-solving.
